Terms of Service

Effective

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tono (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Definitions and acceptance

  • "Developer" means nuruk studio, who provides this App.
  • "User" or "you" means the person who downloads and uses the App.
  • Using the App means you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. License grant

The Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, copy, redistribute, rent, or sell the App.

3. In-app purchases (lifetime unlock)

  • The App has no ads and no subscriptions. It offers a single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase (the "Lifetime Unlock") that permanently unlocks additional paid features.
  • All payments are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and policies.
  • You can re-apply your unlock with Restore Purchases on the same Apple account.
  • Refunds are governed by Apple's policies. The Developer cannot directly refund App Store purchases; refund requests must be made through Apple.
  • Prices and promotions, such as launch sales, may change without prior notice. Changes do not affect purchases already completed.

4. Your responsibilities and content

  • You keep full ownership of, and responsibility for, the photos and content you capture, edit, and save with the App.
  • You must not use the App to infringe others' rights, such as portrait or copyright, or for any unlawful purpose.
  • Because the App processes photos on your device, the Developer does not access your content.

5. Intellectual property

All rights in the App, its design, filters, LUTs (color transform data), the "Tono" trademark, and related materials belong to the Developer. These Terms do not transfer any such intellectual property to you. The output you create with the App (your edited photos) belongs to you.

6. Disclaimer of warranty and limitation of liability

  • The App is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from your use of the App, including data loss, image corruption, device issues, or lost profits.
  • You are responsible for backing up important photos separately.

7. Changes and termination

  • The Developer may modify these Terms and will update the effective date when doing so. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
  • The Developer may restrict or end your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. You can end your use at any time by deleting the App.

8. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. Use through the App Store is also subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which these Terms supplement.
